Denoncour's writing is crisp and lively, and his world-building is exceptional. “This is an action-packed, fantasy/adventure novel about two brothers on a quest to save a dying world. It is aimed at middle schoolers but we have had so much fun reading it with our five year old who can follow the main plot points and enjoy the action sequences.
